Siri will not vocalize response, only text
I have new iPhone Air, all settings have been selected for Siri to respond verbally, but only responds via text, however does vocalize on CarPlay

I suggest checking and ensuring the following settings are set correctly:
- Open Settings
- Tap Siri & Apple Intelligence
- Tap Siri Responses
- Select Prefer Spoken Responses
For your car, you can choose where responses are spoken, whether that is on your car radio, media source, or the phone speakers at the bottom of this page.
If this doesn't work, I suggest asking Siri a question and as she is speaking turn up the volume on your phone. Siri's volume is separate to media volume and call volume and can only be adjusted while she is speaking.
