Find My Keeps Showing 'Locating...' for My Friend's Location

I have a problem with the Find My app on my iPhone. Both my friend and I have location sharing turned on and are sharing locations with each other. It used to work fine before and I could see my friend’s location without any issues. However, recently, when I try to view my friend’s location, it just says “Locating…” and never shows the actual location. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
