Unable to reinstall macOS High Sierra on 2017 iMac after erasing Macintosh HD
I was trying to reset my IMac because I wanted to give it to a relative but when I went into recovery I guess at some point I had erased Machintosh HD and the only disk I see in utilities is (Mac OS X Base system) and something called (Untitled 1) and when I try to re install the OS onto (Untitled 1) it says that it will take like -2 million hours im not sure if this is happening because I used the recovery method that took you to the OS that first came with the Mac but also when I try to use the recovery that takes you to the most recent OS when I try to re install it there it says unable to contact Apple servers.
My Mac is a 21.5 inch 2017 model and I’m trying to install High Sierra and the old OS is Mac OS X, please someone help me out
