Apple Studio Display flickering

Hello,

When I switch apps or enter/exit full screen video on YouTube my Apple Studio Display occasionally flickers. It happens only when Apple Display P3-600 nits profile is selected. All other profiles don’t exhibit such behavior. I tried switching off True Tone and Auto brightness, but it didn’t help. Do you think it’s a malfunction? Please see the video attached for more info. I use it with Mac Studio M1 Max.

Are you using exactly the Apple Pre-Engineered 1 meter ThunderBolt cable that shipped in the box with that high-end display?

to use an ordinary ThunderBolt cable, its length is limited to 0.5 meter, maximum.

Only the original Apple cable or a Thunderbolt cable sold as ACTIVE [over US$125 retail] can be longer.

Just a me too on this. M4 MBP Pro + Studio Display. OS is Tahoe 26.0.

Does not happen if I select P3-D65 profile. Goes bananas in P3-600. I have tried disabling True Tone and auto brightness and that did not do anything.

I've actually only noticed this since I moved house and I have built in LED lighting above my desk area so I am seeing if I can reproduce it without the lights on. May be related to those being run on PWM and interference with whatever sensor sampling they are using.
