Hey Siri not working iPhone 16 pro max iOS 26.0.1 BUT works perfectly fine on my iPad Pro running iOS 26.0.1

I’ve tried everything I can think of ranging from:

turning hey Siri on and off

turning my phone on and off

hard rebooting my iPhone

Compared and tried changing iPhone 16 pro max settings to the same settings on my iPad Pro iOS 26.0.1

resetting iPhone settings.
