I think the screen time per day was set to 20 minutes, if I remember correctly.
This issue doesn't happen every day but happens every now and then. Is this a bug? Perhaps the screen timer didn't reset from the day before?

Screen Time has had its share of odd issues for some time now.
I suggest you avoid any further stress and simply disable the feature. (Do you really need it?)
Otherwise, you can start by rebooting the Mac daily and see if that has any effect on the problem.
