Ok, so I managed to log in to the Apple Community Forum website on the phone iOS 18.5 browser.

Strangely, the website only offered to log in via password auto populate (I use a 3rd party password manager).

As I waited to see why the website was somehow overtaking my phone's 3rd part password manager (the 3rd party password manager strangely did not appear nor prompt as per usual), I saw a new option appear which was 'Sign in with Passkey'. I selected this and I'm assuming iOS' Chain thingy has taken over the phone and signed in with 'my_old_email@domain.tld'.

Aside from why I'm not in charge of my phone's 3rd party password manager handling the security, how can I update my email, which is updated correctly on the website password login, however not with the passkey login?

I'm feeling obfuscation with the passkey system and would like some transparency so I can manage my security.
