Issue with SMB printing on MacOS 26

Even though it is not directly supported from the 'System Settings' -> 'Printers and Scanners' -> 'Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax ...' it is normally operation through cups Web UI. Everything was working in version 15.x, and starting from the 26.0.0 (still on 26.0.1) printing fails with printer error: stopped 'Filter failed'.

Latest version of drivers `Mac56_2025.09.29-EN.zip` has been installed and the same error is still present.

Don't know if anyone who is using smb printing encountered the same issue.

Apple made a change in Tahoe, and it remains to be seen whether Apple will fix this or Kyocera will need to update their drivers.

I have no idea what this is in references to... your driver "Mac56_2025.09.29-EN.zip" (?)

For some clarification what exact printer/scanner is this.

copy and paste:

if no interface, then from Terminal.app copy & paste:

cupsctl WebInterface=yes
