Error removing old devices from Apple Account on Windows 11

I'm trying to clean up my Apple Account. When I sign into my Apple Account in a browser on Windows 11 and click on devices, I see my current iPhone and my current Apple TV. Those two devices I want in there. I also see an older computer of mine that I don't have anymore that I want to remove. I see an older iPhone of mine that I don't have anymore that I want to remove. I want to remove them, but when I click on them I get this annoyingly vague error message:

"There was a problem displaying details for this device. Try again or check back later."

I also see FOUR instances of what I'm assuming is my current computer. I want my computer in there, but not four times. And I get the same error message when I click on any of the four. How do I go about removing the yellow highlighted devices (in the screenshot)? They are the devices that will not show details, which has the "Remove" button at the bottom. It's not greyed out. I can't even get that far with them.

In the picture: The devices circled in blue are the only ones that show me details when I click on them, the ones I want to keep. The devices highlighted in yellow give the error message when I click on them. The yellow highlighted devices I want to remove. You'll notice the four instances of "ANDY", my laptop. I want one of these, but they all throw the error message.

This picture shows that error message:

To remove problematic, unviewable devices like your old iPhone and multiple instances of your laptop from your Apple Account, go to account.apple.com on your Windows PC, select the problematic device from the Devices list, and click Remove from Account. If that doesn't work, you may need to wait up to 90 days for certain associated devices to become eligible for removal, or you might have to sign out of your Apple ID on a currently-used version of that device.

Remove Devices from Your Apple Account

  1. Sign in: On a Windows 11 browser, go to account.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  2. Go to Devices: Click on the Devices section to view your device list.
  3. Select the device: Click on a device that is showing an error message (highlighted in yellow in your description).
  4. Remove the device: After clicking, you should see the option to Remove from Account. Click this to remove it.
  5. Confirm: Review the message that appears and confirm you want to remove the device.

Troubleshooting for Error Messages

  • If the device reappears: If you are still signed in to your Apple Account on a device, it might reappear after you remove it. You will need to sign out of iCloud, Media & Purchases, iMessage, and FaceTime on that device or erase the device to permanently remove it.
  • If you can't select or remove the device:You can try signing out of all devices at once by going to your account page and changing your password. You can also use the Apple Music app or Apple TV app to manage linked devices, though this may not work for a web-based device list.
  • Waiting Period: There may be a 90-day waiting period before a device can be associated with a different Apple Account, which could explain why you can't remove it immediately.
  • Try an Apple Device: If you have access to an Apple device, you might be able to remove the problematic device directly from the settings on that device.
