volume of MacBook after disconnecting AirPods

Hello Kuo,

I believe many others have experienced this issue as I've stumbled upon an old post here on the community with the exact same issue as well as a post on Reddit. The post on reddit contained this suggestion someone else found helpful. I've copied it below and pasted the link to the original post as well:

1. With AirPods bluetooth connected to MacBook put volume to 1 bar

2. Disconnect (Not remove) the bluetooth connection

3. Put volume to 1 bar again

4. Re-connect airpods and put volume to 1 bar again

5. Click "Open Sound Preferences" on Airpod Bluetooth Arrow Menu

6. Click on "Input" and increase to max if not already.

7. Put Airpod Volume to Max Bars now

8. Leave the System Preferences open on "Input" (DO NOT CLOSE OR CHANGE TABS)

9. Play something

10. REVEL IN THE LOUDNESS THAT IS THE AIRPOD

Hello kuo160,

The volume of your device is separate to the one your AirPods last used. For example, when I listen to music on my iPad with the volume at one notch up, it will remember that volume setting when I am finished using my AirPods and disconnect them. This is the same for your Mac, the volume on your computer must be set lower than your AirPods volume. Use the volume keys on the MacBook to adjust the media volume. Go to Settings> Sounds> then adjust the slider for Alert Volume if alerts and notifications are too quiet or too loud.
