Does this same transfer interruption happen when this MacBook Air is connected to a different Wi-Fi network?
How much free storage space does this Mac have available?
I am using it at home but let me try to use my cellular service through my phone to check. This is a brand new mac. It has 2T.
So you get this no matter what you try to download or from where?
Do you have any antivirus, firewall or VPN software installed?
OK. I figured it out. It was safari that wasn't allowing the downloads. I followed some instructions on line and it's fixed.
What error message?
You posted a direct link to the downloadable installer.
This is the message in the download box at the right hand top of the safari browser ...

Yes, from anywhere. This is a brand new macbook so I don't think there is anything on it.
I see now that I have FileVault. Is there a way to allow downloads? Thanks.
FileVault has nothing to do with whether you can download. That's full disk encryption.
