Watch SE not counting steps or distance

I recently changed to the new photos face gallery and now my steps and distance are not calculating, The display is there, but it shows 0. iphone 16E calculates steps, but it is not communicating with my watch. I already tried restarting.

Are the steps counted on the watch itself, if you tap on the blue Stand Ring and scroll down the screens?

Can you see the step count in the Health App and Fitness App on the iPhone?

If you are using a complication to show your steps, does the complication work with other Watch faces?
