Contact blocked in Address Book and Messages on Mac Studio in Tahoe

My wife's contact is blocked in address book and messages on my Mac Studio in Tahoe. My iPhone does not have the contact blocked. I'm unable to unblock it on the Mac Studio. the button in messages does not deselect nor does it change in address book. it is unresponsive.
