My iPhone 17 Pro Max keeps disconnecting from CarPlay

Use “Forget This Device”:

Whatever the connection type, try “Forget Those Device” on your iPhone and in your car’s stereo. This occurs to me oh so frequently, and this works for me: “Forget This Device” > wait for my phone and the car to see another > re-pair this.

Troubleshooting CarPlay:

For me, it takes a few tries to get it to pair, most certainly...

A. Driver's Manual:

Read your driver's manual to find out more about syncing this.

B. Re-Pair this, while in Park:

Unpair your device from your car, and then par it. For many, they must have their automobile in park to get this to all pair.

Turn OFF Bluetooth:

Is Bluetooth of need? If not, then turn it off, being you are using a hardwired connection.

1. Go to: Settings app
2. Tap: Bluetooth
3. Toggle Off: Bluetooth

Hi all. I'm sadly having the same issues as everyone else on here it would seem. Ive done absolutely everything to resolve this issue. Yet again another trip to the genius bar and they completely reset my 17 pro back to factory settings from Apple's computer... Just an FYI make sure you take screen shots of all of your apps as it doesn't automatically download them from I Cloud. Only if you do it from a computer or another phone.. I'll post on here if the connection holds after all this...

no issues with old phone. Since day one of getting iPhone 17 pro, CarPlay disconnects and reconnects constantly. Tried all things mentioned including waiting for iOS update which did nothing. Now have a case # elevated to “engineering”…

17 pro max, and the same issues. Wired or wireless. Keeps disconnecting.

Did a hard reset on both pioneer radio and iphone, didnt work.

tried original cable, beats cable. No difference.

Running ios 26.1

Getting pretty annoid by the fact i bought a €1500+ device and something simple as carplay don’t seem to work. Whatsup Apple!

Is this a wired CarPlay connection, or wireless. What brand vehicle?
