Brand new MacBook AIR (M4) not finding HP Envy 7640 printer

I have a brand new MacBook Air (M4) that can not find my HP ENVY 7640 printer or any other printer for that matter. I have been troubleshooting and searching without any resolve. I checked to see if drivers needed to be downloaded from HP's website and that was of no use. I'm exhausted trying to wrack my brain. Can someone please help. Starting online classes soon and starting my business and need to get my printer working asap. Also I tried buying a brand new printer and same issue which makes me think it's a Mac issue. I've checked every setting possible that I can think of. Please help and I thank you in advance!

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 26.0

The HP ENVY 7640 e-All-In-One Printer Series is listed as supported in About AirPrint - Apple Support.

Have you tried to connect the printer to a Wi-Fi router, the same network as your MacBook Air?

If necessary, try a full power-cycle sequence (do not forget the router):

  • Power off the router, the printer, the MacBook Air, and all other devices/computers connected to the same network.
  • Wait two to three minutes.
  • Power on the router.
  • Wait a minute or two.
  • Power on the printer.
  • Wait a minute or two.
  • Power on the MacBook Air and all other devices/computers.
