MacBook Air 2020 with Tahoe update: 'Read Only' iCloud and Gmail, Inbox Icon Missing

Exchange = an email account hosted on a Microsoft Exchange server (typically work/school emails).

The Read Only notation is a permissions issue with the mailbox, see this thread:
