Removing duplicate music files in Apple Music

See Duplicate songs in iTunes/Music - Apple Community. Hold down option so that menu selection becomes Fle > Library > Show Exact Duplicate Items, or click a Same Album button if shown. A key point is that this display shows all versions of a duplicated item in your library, so if you delete them all you also remove that item from your library. You need to be careful when cleaning up.

Go to the File> Library> Show Duplicate Items. Remove them from the playlist, but don't delete them. That causes all sorts of problems if you want to transfer them to another device like a iPhone or iPad.
