Has Tahoe improved tiling? I'm on Sequoia and hate it.

TL;DR: I am currently on Sequoia. I have had many problems with Tiling both on my imac and macbook air-- but the macbook air is the worst. I am wondering if anyone else who has had multiple problems with Tiling has had these resolved when upgrading to Tahoe.

More detail: Tiling is the worst and I spend half my time on my computer trying to stop windows from increasing when I don't want it to, moving where I don't want it to on its own, NOT moving to where I want, and generally just being a nightmare.

This is not my first post on trouble with Tiling. (see this previous question that was unresolved How do I fully disable window tiling marg… - Apple Community.

In addition to the issues listed in this previous question (which is basically tiling leaves .5cm at the top of the screen no matter what I do) and automatically moving a window somewhere I do NOT want it when I try to move it to a spot. When I try to use the ore-set options to take up the left or right, the window is way too long and goes past the dock on the screen, so I cannot see the bottom of the window.

This is honestly making me crazy. It's much worse on my macbook air, but also a problem on my imac. I have turned off everything I can find, but still continue to have massive problems.

Someone mentioned in the previous post that there were apps that help with this. At the time I wasn't willing to get an app, but now I'm certainly happy to consider it because this is so much trouble. (pics are of current tiling settings, if you spot something to change for improvement, I would welcome it).

I'm wondering if anyone has had similar frustrations and has found improvement with Tahoe? I know people are saying Tahoe has done quote a bit for the interface, so I wasn't sure whether the issues I'm facing have been resolved with the newest update.

Any recommendations on whether to update to Tahoe would be appreciated.

If anyone has suggestions for safe apps that do work for controling the desktop (ideally free, I am poor), I would appreciate this.

Thank you for your time

The question I have is what causes your windows to tile when all the settings are off. I also have zero problems with Tiling in either Sequoia or Tahoe. Tahoe works the same for me with respect to tiling.

What causes yours to resize while ours do not. There is also a setting above where you posted that has actions when you double-click the title bar. It can make windows resize to fill the screen or zoom. Maybe turn that off and see what happens.

The only other thing I can see would cause a few people to have these problems is some third-party system modification. On your other post, several people offered suggestions on ways to troubleshoot the issue, but you didn't take any of them up on their offer to help.

At one time, in the past, there was an  Etrecheck Application available on the Apple Apps Store.

Due to certain constrains place upon the Developer by APPLE, the developer chose to remove it from the Store and make is available Directly from them.

This specific application is well known, on these Forums,  as a Go To for trouble shooting and avoiding all the question / answer and question / answer to finally get the issue pinned down.

It is also known and reported by Reliable Sources that,  sometimes APPLE SUPPORT has invoked using this same Developer Distributed Version of Etrecheck application to trouble shot computer issues

Should you decide to use and post the Full Report now or at a later time, some helpful soul may look at the report and offer some insights

I don’t know why it’s all happening, either. Neither did anyone at apple. They even took over my computer multiple times and couldn’t figure it out.

I tried turning off the item you suggest and it made no difference to the overall problem, but thanks for the suggestions.

as for the suggestions people had in the previous post, as I said in that post none of it worked. I did try all of it. And the people at apple also tried all of that, it made no difference. They couldn’t figure it out.

the apple people told me to reinstall. I did this three times, it’s still a problem.

I am uncomfortable downloading software that I know nothing about.

I asked the apple guys about it during the calls to try to figure out what is going on. They didn’t know what it was and advised not to download something when I don’t know what it is and risk introducing new problems to the machine.

6 apple guys didn’t know what it was and told me not to do it if I didn’t know what it was.

Are the apple guys who answer the phones all absolute experts who know everything? No. Because they couldn’t even figure out what the problem was. But since they didn’t know what it was, I wasn’t going to risk my two computers to a software I don’t know.
