iPhone Mirroring does not work or even appear

Hey,

I am on MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1 and my iPhone is on iOS 26.0.1 as well.

I no longer see the iPhone mirroring app on my app drawer and cannot even search it through Spotlight.

After updating to the above versions, it looks like the mirroring app got vanished.

I tried rebuilding the Spotlight index as well. Also cannot see any recent articles stating the similar issues.

I am Sweden, so I was wandering any EU related regulations caused this but did not see any press-release or even a similar article anywhere related to 26.0.1

Can someone please help me to sort this out?

Or am I missing something?

Check your Applications folder, the app is part of macOS so it should be there. Assuming it is, you can drag it back to the Dock.

If it’s not, you may need to reinstall macOS.

Hi,

I reinstalled the macOS. Now if I only search 'iphone mirroring' on the Application folder I can see the app. Even then upon opening it give the below alert.

The thing is, before updating to 26.0.1, iPhone mirroring has worked for me. Nothing has changed on my account or the place I live in within that time.

Can you kindly help to sort this out?

iPhone Mirroring is not available in the EU. I supposed it might have been showing up in 26.0 even though it shouldn't have been, and maybe that was 'fixed. in 26.0.1.
