How do I stop the huge text box from Popping up on my screen. Where did it come from?

I did not into some of the areas of "accessibility" and "appearance" and turned off items that were turn on.

By default they are all de-selected.

The example in the latter screenshot would occur only if "Enable Hover Text" had been selected in Accessibility > Zoom and just the ⌘ (command) key were pressed and held if text happened to be under the cursor. In other words it would require quite a confluence of actions, which probably explains its seemingly random occurrence.

A bit of extra info on posting screenshot in the forums: only jpg and png formats are supported, and file sizes need to be 5MB of less.
