airdrop videos don't show immediately in downloads

Why not make it clearer where the file goes to, please? I now actually have to airdrop again so i can see where the file goes...It seems like many people have that problem. Can i specify the location where the video should go since it's almost impossible to find under "downloads"? I love Apple, but this is frustrating. anita

Typically AirDrop downloads go to Downloads folder on the Mac. This is the defaults with no user option here.

In Finder for example: "List view" sort by Date Modified or Date Added it should be sitting right on top...(?)

Do you have some specific example that is giving you an issue if there is a complication here. Drag and drop to its final destination should not be an issue.
