Unable to change my Apple Account region from Ukraine to Russia

It's impossible to change the region in the App Store from Ukraine to Russia. I have a MIR card, and all the data matches, everything is entered correctly. I've tried changing the region about 10 times (none successfully). After entering all the data, I press the "Done" button, and the button is replaced by a loading button. After a few seconds, the loading seems to be canceled, and the "Done" button reappears, and I can keep pressing it.

Hi verholt,

i see you have a problem with changing your apple account regio. I once had this problem too and the reason was because i had money on my apple account and apple support told me that your balance has to be 0 in order to change your regio. If the problem is still not solved, i heard rumors that it had something to do with the guideline and war in russia.

Didn’t Apple suspend a lot of their business in Russia as a result of Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine and the sanctions that followed?

Maybe that included access to the App Store.
