Unable to connect second monitor to Mac mini after restart

I honestly have no clue how I got the second monitor to work last night, but I ha no problems then once it came on. this morning I was having problems remembering my password. Got a little frustrated and unplugged the mini Mac to restart everything. Now I can't figure out how to get this monitor connecting to the mini Mac. Same everything and everything plugged into where it needs to be.

I have a mini docking station, a thunderbolt and two Sceptre C27 Curved gaming monitors (that do not come with remotes. Only the button at the back of the monitor.) That button will turn the monitor off and on but I have yet to see the menu come up, which I believe might be my issue, not being able to with over to the right HDMI.

Anyone know more than me? Which should be a lot concerning computer set-ups

Not sure if its the same issue but I've just solved a 2 day battle getting my new Mini connected to a Samsung gaming monitor, used 3 different HDMI cables including a brand new 2.1 plus a cheaper USB-C to DisplayPort cable and nothing worked, screen blank or at times blinking on and off. Solved it now by using an expensive USB-C to Display port 1.4 cable that supports 8K/60htz and 4K/144htz which is what my monitor is. Hope you solve it soon.

"Unable to connect second monitor to Mac mini after restart"

-------

Getting a Monitor to be Used:

If not seen, there may not be enough power drawn from he source from which it is connected: Your Docking Station. Apple does not make a docking station, but they do make hubs. This is the Apple adapter to use, if HDMI is your port type: USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - Apple

View "Graphics/Displays" in System Information:

  1. Go to: Apple menu
  2. Hold Down: option button
  3. Select: System Information
  4. Click: Graphics/Displays

Is any second monitor seen?

Sceptre - Sceptre C275W-1920RN 27" Curved Monitor

This is a 27" monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, and a refresh rate of up to 75 Hz. It has a HDMI input, and a VGA input, so presumably there must be some controls on the monitor itself to let you select which input to try to use.

The link for the manual under the Support tab does not seem to work, but the Support tab has contact information for Customer Service and Tech Support.
