Apple Intelligence and Siri failure on iPhone 17 Pro Max

My 13 Pro Max seemed to have more functionality than my new 17 Pro Max with Apple Intelligence (or Ignorance) and Siri….virtually any question I ask it asks me if I want to use Chat GPT, and then fails to produce any sort of answer. I honestly cannot recall one time it actually worked for me.

Last night I simply asked Siri to turn-on the flashlight and it told me it couldn’t do that?

I’m trying to justify my keeping this phone… can you help me with a reason why I should?
