Is the UpNext feature of Apple TV still available? I am looking for a way to simplify watching, and aggregating content across multiple content providers.

Yes it is, it is just dependent on the providers to participate (Netflix is a notable omission). IOn your device, under settings for the TV app you will see which 3rd party apps can be connected. Note: It won't apply the app installed on Mac or 3rd party devices as those are standalone apps.
