No sound from Focusrite 212 in Logic Pro after upgrading to Tahoe

I’ve recently upgraded OS on my macbook pro to Tahoe. Since then Logic Pro is not playing any sound through or accepting sound from my focusrite 212. The interface does work outside of logic, eg playing youtube videos. The input and output settings show the 212. I’ve reinstalled Logic Pro. The firmware is up to date. Logic plays fine through the Macbook speakers. I knew it was a mistake to upgrade OS but got fed up with constant nagging from Apple. Any suggestions please?
