I want to turn off the click wallpaper to show desktop items on the Monterey iMac. Is that possible?
I saw some videos, but in my system preferences, the desktop and dock appear separated, and I can't find the click wallpaper option to show the desktop. Do you have any idea about how to do it?

Is it possible you're talking about a 'click' using your Secondary Mouse Button or Middle Mouse Button? If that's the case, you can control that option at System Preferences > Mission Control > bottom panel - Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts > Show Desktop - righthand side dropdown.

try going into System Settings > Desktop & Dock and change "Click wallpaper to reveal desktop" from "Always" to "Only in Stage Manager". then it stops moving things aside when you click on your wallpaper.
full disclosure: I don't use stage manager, so I'm unsure how that changes things when it's activated.

You should be able to turn it off in the System ➙ Desktop & Dock preference pane:
This screenshot is from Sequoia but should be about the same in Monterey. It might take a reboot to trun it off.

I’ve seen this feature in various tutorials, but it doesn’t appear on my iMac (Retina 5K, Late 2015). Could the issue be that my iMac is too old? I have attached a few screenshots for reference. Additionally, I noticed that the Desktop & Dock options on my iMac are listed separately.
