Zero balance on Apple Gift Card after purchase and attempted redemption
I purchased Apple gift card in World Trade Apple Store today and gave my friend the code to redeem. However, when he logged in to redeem, there was zero balance. I called Apple support and confirmed no one redeem the code as the balance is zero. I returned to the store, and the supervisor was obnoxious, accusing me using unsafe app to send my code. I told him Apple support staff agreed with me that there was no redemption. They charged me $1100 but never added to the gift card. I plan to notify my bank on Friday since the transaction is pending. What is the chance of me getting refund from Apple? I’m thinking of filing a police report also since I paid but money wasn’t added to the gift card.
