Apple Care One is not a family plan

Why do you market Apple Care One as a family plan when you cannot add your family members devices if they are associated with their own Apple ID, regardless if you have included them in your Apple "Family"? Even your team members at Apple stores claim it's a family plan. This is truly misleading. I cancelled the service. I hope I get a full refund of my initial payment.

You are not speaking to Apple here, so you will not get a response from an Apple employee. If you want to talk to Apple, you can do that here:

Contact Apple Support - Apple Support

If you want to send feedback, you can do that here:

Product Feedback - Apple

You may be confusing AppleCare One with Apple One, which are 2 different things. For AppleCare One, the devices that are covered must be using the same Apple Account.

  • Can I add my family’s devices to my AppleCare One plan?

AppleCare One plans can cover devices that are on the same Apple Account as the subscriber.

AppleCare - Apple

  • Apple One is used to combine multiple subscriptions into a single price and that does have a Family Plan and will cover family members in the plan that are using different Apple Accounts.

  1. This is a user to user forum, Apple is not here. As users like your self we don't market anything.
  2. Apple has never said Apple One was a Family at all,. because it is not. It is meant to cover up to 3 of your own devices for a single fee. Not sure were you got that it is a Family Plan.
  3. If you want a refund, then you will need to request one after canceling the Apple One plan. It won't happen automatically.
  4. click here ➜ Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support
