Does safari have auto fill in form function for forms?

Does Safari have an auto fill in function for forms? Yes I can save passwords names etc... But why not a function for typing in a form for example 123 click and next time you got a box and it remember it. If I click in the menu bar edit-i got an error message function is not the same it is not available. Chrome firefox every browser has it, why Safari not?
