Why is the timeline scroll bar such low contrast that it is impossible to see.

The scrollbar in the FCP X timeline is such low contrast that it is impossible to see. Plus, sometimes it's small, sometimes it's long. And, if you press down on the timeline and miss the scroll bar, you end up in a seemingly random place. APPLE! Why isn't there an option to control the visibility of the interface, or at least the contrast. See attachment. Yes, there is a scroll bar but who could see it?

I have the latest studio monitor as an external monitor to the macbook pro m3 Max 2023 and running sonoma 14.7.

The display is set to apple display (P3-600 nits). Show scroll bars, in appearance settings set to Always.

It doesn't disappear -- it's just very bad interface design.

The editing process is entirely disrupted in the search for the scroll bar while inserting, moving footage. Basically, all the time. I would say ditto for changing the width of the various window. Good luck trying to hit the line that allows this. It's so disrupting to the editing process that I'm just about to switch editing programs.

Any solutions? Changing contrast in system settings has NO impact.
