Browser moves between spaces

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with my browser following me around despite switching spaces. I've confirmed that it's not on full screen mode and that it's just the browser. Basically I have an open browser in Space 2, when moving to Space 1 where I work, I expect the browser to just stay in Space 2, but it follows to all spaces that I move which is annoying. Would appreciate any help with this, thanks!
