Airdrop opens apple wallet when bringing devices togett

So i got my iPhone 13 2 months ago and I just tried to airdrop someone by getting the two phone together but it keep opening apple wallet for them and I tried with multiple people and still the same and I don’t if it a hardware or a software issue I updated to the latest iOS and still the same and the nfc is working fine with my apple wallet and even with my nfc case so I don’t know whats going on and even though I can airdrop people but by waiting for them to show up in my airdrop search but not by getting the devices together which is silly

The two phones don’t need to be that close. I Airdrop my wife frequently and she’s probably 50 to 75 ft away.


Several iOS versions ago Apple released Tap-To-Cash, and that’s what is being initiated when you’re attempting to Airdrop.


Please follow this path,


iPhone > Settings > scroll down > Wallet & Apple Pay > Apple Cash > disable
