24” monitor for use with Mac mini m4?

As desk space is limited I am looking to buy a 24” monitor to use with Mac mini m4.

i would be using it for everyday tasks plus sorting photos and videos and watching YouTube for art lessons. (No gaming)

I’d appreciate any suggestions on monitors up to £200. Thanks

If you are going to be using this monitor for photo editing, I would suggest looking for one that has, at a minimum,

  • An IPS panel
  • 100% or near-100% coverage of sRGB. If the monitor's specifications do not mention sRGB, assume the worst.

You could also look for monitors with good coverage of wide gamuts (Adobe RGB and/or DCI-P3), though they are likely to be a bit more expensive.

Although you don't have to buy from them, Amazon (UK) is a good place to start research. A 4K version is better for photo editing but may cost more than the US $100 entry-level versions. However, if your needs are basic, even those entry-level models do a great job.

From the Amazon US page, I see that 24-inch it about the largest you can get and still have portability. Although packing around a monitor is not for everyone, the ability to fold and stow may be appealing if your workspace is confined.
