No FindMy when one AirPod is permanently lost

I lost one of my AirPod pros. Possibly threw it out when I was tossing some tissues. Haven’t been able to find it for months. So now my AirPod is showing as not fully set up in FindMy. This means that when I lose my current AirPod or the case, I can’t use FindMy to find it.

is there any way to register a partial se of AirPods, like I have left?
