iPhone 16 recently updated to IOS26. Safari used to operate nicely and closing tabs was easy.
where is the simple easy way to close a simple tab ?
and why has it been removed/obscured ?

Ok finally found it hidden away in a menu so several clicks late r a simple tab close done.
cannot see the sense in hiding it away, would like apple to provide a real reason for this. Firefox installed, will look to see what other options are out there.
been with apple since the beginning, sold millions of dollars worth, been a hard ware tech and managed an outlet.
cannot understand some of the directions that have occurred since Jobs died.
I reckon engineers would have been fired if jobs was still alive
