Tahoe Music has defeated me!

Most of music seems to work OK for me, but, I have a playlist that has a "Rule" that uses "Ticked"✓to designate a song/tune that I want picked up for that playlist. Unfortunately the playlist has all my 900 items listed!

Observations;

  • I cannot find how to display the ✓ on the "column heading" to even "sort" my library
  • I cannot find how to add-erase the ✓ from a tunes item
  • If I remember correctly, if I selected the ✓ to appear in the column headings, I could select/deselect tunes by clicking the little box next to the item (no longer there)
  • The ticked rules shows I can select it as a criteria for the playlist but, nada

Help please

Sorry, I always seem to ask for help with "premature education" 😂

It turns out that the ticked block is only show when you select in the VIEW menu of music, the "Songs" format.

If you select "Songs" then the little box is against the song and can be select and deselected. A smart playlist can then pick up all the "ticked" items and present them as a playlist.

As an added wrinkle, if you want to edit "the Rules", it appears in the heading only with view "Playlist"
