No dialogue with Dolby Atmos Apple TV 4K TV OS26

Hi,

All of a sudden, there is no dialogue, when watching Netflix on Apple TV updates to TV OS26, when audio format setting set to (Change Format Off) and Immersive Audio -Dolby Atmos: On. However when I changed audio setting to Dolby Digital 5.1, then the dialogue returns and is audible.

The issue persisted despite restarting entire system (TV, Apple TV, Audio system, Network). I am aware people have reported audio sync issues with TV OS26, but has anyone else experienced similar issues with Dolby Atmos?

In addition, Netflix Dolby Atmos is working absolutely fine when using native TV app, but issue is only apparent when using Netflix app on Apple TV.

It’s only the Netflix app, with the issue. Audio works fine with Dolby Atmos setting with YouTube, Prime Video etc.

Interested to see if other people have experienced similar issues or found a solution to this yet!

If it's only occurring with Netflix then it points to an issue with their app. I am not currently subscribed otherwise I would see if I could reproduce the issue. Have you tried reaching out to Netflix support?

Sounds like it may have just been a temporary glitch, but if it does happen again I would totally be in touch with them as they are responsible for maintaining their app.

Yes. Definitely an issue with Netflix app. I didn’t reach out to Netflix (yet), however, 12 hours later, it seems like the issue might have been resolved! I am receiving audio (dialogue, centre channel had dropped), with Netflix and Apple TV in Dolby Atmos audio setting.

Maybe it’s fixed!
