No Playback of HDR photos on iPhone 17 Pro

Scenario: JPEG HDR photos, shot in ProRaw with iPhone 17 Pro, edited in Lightroom and saved in iCloud.

These photos appear perfectly in HDR on my iPad Pro, but they appear in SDR on the same iPhone 17 Pro (the jpeg version on iCloud, not the original ProRaw!).

Interestingly, if I press “modify” the JPEG picture in app Photo of the iPhone 17 Pro, the full version is downloaded from iCloud and the HDR version finally appears. MUCH MORE INTERESTINGLY, if I cancel the editing of the picture and I abandon the editing mode, the picture turns back to SDR, even though the full details have already been downloaded from iCloud as soon as I requested to edit the photo. This is clearly a bug on the iPhone. Of course the toggle HDR in the setting of Photo app is ON, I double checked that!
