Firewire not supported in Tahoe.
Tell me how to import vhs or camcorder tapes into Final Cut Pro since firewire is no longer supported. I have a M1 Ultra Mac Studio.

If the Mac supports Sequoia or earlier, install it to an external drive and import DV/D8 there. I guess there are 3rd party converter boxes for analog VHS or DV/D8 but I let others chime in about them.
