After iOS26 update Siri no longer recognizes voice commands to control Apple TV's

I have (5) Apple TVs in my house, and (4) of them I've had no problem controlling with Siri. You know, all hands-free, by saying: "Hey Siri, turn on the Living Room TV," "Hey Siri, Mute the Main Bedroom TV," et cetera. However, after the iOS 26 update, I can no longer do this hands-free.

Now, when I say "Hey Siri, turn on the living room TV," I get a reply that says "Which TV..." and it reads out my TVs and shows a list of them on screen. I say "living room" and then it comes back with the same list and asks me again, "Which TV..." followed by the list. I can physically touch the TV in the on-screen list, and it will perform the action; however, it will never recognize the voice command.

iPhone 14/15 Pro Max are both on iOS 26, and all the TVs are on TVOS 18.7.

Is anyone else having this issue? Has anyone figured out how to work around it?
