Sticky key icons staying in top left even after changing the area for display

I recently updated my 2024 M3 Macbook Air to macOS Tahoe, and the first weird thing I noticed was that my sticky key icons were so far to the right that they were getting cut off by the edge of the screen. I fixed that by turning sticky keys off and then back on, but then they moved to the top left corner, when I had always had them in the top right.
