ipad IOS 26 show titles no longer visible in the TV app

Show or Movie Titles are no longer visible in the TV APP - I have tried all the display, app and accessibility settings I can find but currently each downloaded show/film appears as a black icon with a thumb nail BUT the show title is also BLACK

I cannot see how to make the TEXT in the show icon visible "again" on my 5th gen 12.9" iPad Pro like it was previously before I updated to IOS 26. I have tried all the display and accessibility settings and tried to customise display for the TV App.

think it might be by design rather than a bug on their behalf

if people are unhappy with it, use their feedback channel

I am having the exact same issue. For TV Shows and Movies I got off iTunes, there is a title card, so I know what show or movie it is, and for TV Shows, once you select one, the app displays each episode with both image and name. However, none of this happens for Home Movies…which is any video I import into the iPad from iTunes that was made on my PC. I only get the preview image, which isn’t enough, and I should have to select each item to get the title of it on the next screen.
