Clicking the toolbar in Joomla CMS triggers scroll to top

Upon clicking the toolbar in Joomla CMS (in order to for example make text bold or insert a link) it triggers scroll to top. Sometimes it works after quite a few attempts and sometimes the problem does not appear.

Using Tahoe 26.0 and latest Safari version. Same problem om Sequoia.

I have been using Joomla CMS on Safari for at least 10 years and this problem has never occured before.

Any solutions?
