Did my email get sent after upgrading icloud storage?

I just upgraded my icloud storage because I noticed that I couldn't receive any of my friend's emails. Before upgrading my storage I had sent a mail to someone else (A) and the mail was saved under "sent". Right after sending the mail I got the following error message: xxx mail could not be moved to the mailbox. And after upgrading my icloud storage the mail is now saved under "restored mails" (local). Does anyone whether the recipient (A) has received my mail?
