Disappearance of 2025 movie 'Sovereign' from Apple TV in the U.S.

Apple TV was promoting the 2025 movie, Sovereign, in their New Movies list and had it available for rent up until the last couple days. It’s now disappeared from my Watchlist and searching for it returns no results. It is still showing in my Continue Watching list, I assume unintentionally as it’s only still there on 1 of my Apple TV devices, and the movie is listed as “Not available in your region or on this device.” Is Apple censoring this movie about sovereign citizens because it’s too controversial for the current political climate in the U.S.?

it's still there in my appletv app danish region

it's not an apple produced material so would doubt apple would be "censoring" it, if it's still in one of your devices then it should more like a glitch

It appears to be available on Apple TV again. I contacted Apple support and the content provider Briarcliff about it early this morning. Either there was a problem they fixed or it was a temporary glitch that resolved itself. Thanks for checking.

It’s still in my Canadian region. It is possible for certain titles to be removed from the iTunes Store for a variety of reasons. I cannot find anything about it being banned in the US though.. however I cannot find it on an iTunes Store search. I bought it so it’s still in my purchases and can be played. If it was removed from my store I might not be able to play it as I never downloaded it to avoid titles being pulled

It’s showing on one of my devices “Continue Watching” list but it’s removed from my “Watchlist” on that same device, my other devices and any search. The movie cannot be viewed as it’s labeled as not available in my region, the U.S. It’s clearly been removed from their content list in the U.S. I think it’s been removed for U.S. viewing but probably not the rest of the world. Strange since it’s a new movie about an American topic.

I'm not at home right now, so I can't check my Apple TV. However, it is available on my iPhone. I'm in the U.S.
