I am trying to login to my bank website and have tried it with Safari and Chrome. Both are doing the same but I can log in with no issues on my phone and my laptop. I type in my user name and hit enter. It advances to a blank page and nothing else happens.

Are you running a VPN on the Mac Mini? If so, try disabling that then test to see if it's working.
If not, try removing or disabling all the add-ons or extensions on both Safari and Chrome.
As a last resort, try a safeboot then login again and test:
