Slow menu bar loading on macOS Tahoe with external NVMe boot drive

It will depend on what apps/extensions you allow to load. You can toggle them in System Settings > Menu Bar.

As far as I’m aware if I boot from the internal drive this doesn’t happen although that said I haven’t got everything setup on the internal drive like the external, things like OneDrive, Bluetooth in the menu bar etc
