Apple VisionPro audio glitches when using AirPods Fixed

Shortly after updating my Apple Vision Pro to visionOS 26, Vision Pro audio heard through AirPods Pro began to sound very compressed and distorted, like audio played through a plastic tube. Audio that was especially noisy (like Environmental sounds, wind-blowing etc) was especially distorted. The problem only occurred with the combination of Apple VisionPro and AirPods Pro. The same AirPods worked absolutely fine with many other devices, and the the VisionPro audio was fine when played through its own speakers. All on visionOS26. Problem fixed by going into visionOS Accessiblity -> Accessories -> AirPods -> [selected AirPods] -> “Allow Audio with One AirPod”, turning it on, then turning it off again. Problem solved.
