Macbook Air displaying incorrect percentages

I have a Macbook Air M1 on Sequoia and idk why it would show the battery to be at like 50% but then my mac just suddenly shuts off and when I turn it on, it shows 10% battery. I am constantly on low power mode with batter health being normal at 97% maximum capacity. Even the cycle count is only 49. I don’t what to do to make sure my mac shows the proper battery percentage.
